I'm Filip. I test software, build it, and help work out how it should be put together. Herculeon is me, so the person you talk to is the person doing the job.
I came up through testing and fullstack development, so these overlap more than they look. Whatever I build gets tested properly, and whatever I test, I understand well enough to have built.
Some things a one-person business simply does better than an agency. These are the ones that matter most.
At an agency you meet someone experienced in the sales meeting and often get someone else on the project. Here there's one person, and you've already met him.
Including when the thing you asked for isn't the thing you need, or when someone else is better placed to do it. I'd rather lose the work than deliver something you regret.
It's my main line of work. On a build it's included rather than promised and quietly dropped when the deadline tightens.
Long quiet stretches are where projects go wrong. Short cycles with something real to look at mean you find out early if we're building the wrong thing.
What you need, who uses it, and what's constraining you. This is also where I decide whether I'm the right person.

Real software or real findings as they come, not status updates. You'll never wonder what I've been doing.
Documentation and a walkthrough, so your team can carry the work forward. I stay reachable after that.
I'm Filip Danielsson. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science, and I've worked as a fullstack system developer. At a start-up I was given responsibility for the testing across the whole product, which is a privilege you don't often get that early.
Those two jobs taught me different halves of the same thing. Building software showed me how it goes wrong. Testing it professionally showed me how predictably, and how much of it could have been caught earlier for almost nothing.
Herculeon is a one-person company, and I plan to keep it that way for now. It means I take on a small number of projects at a time and give each one my full attention, and it means nobody hands your work to someone junior after you've signed.
